You should know that there are 2 kinds of Visa and the process varies from one to another.
ONLINE VISA
Indonesian and Sri Lankan housemaids normally go through similar process before they exit their respective Country. The whole process is done in 3 different days which may or may not be consecutive. These days are designated by the officer from the embassy.
- 1st Day – Application
- 2nd Day – Eye Scan and Finger Printing
- 3rd Day – Visa Stamp
Given that these 3 days may not be consecutive, the maximum time-frame, agencies usually set for housemaid arrival is 15 days from the receipt of Visa. This is to give way for whatever delay that may arise from the whole process.
As a sponsor, you will receive an SMS confirmation once the Visa Stamp is ready.
ORIGINAL VISA
This is the kind of Visa that anyone who urgently needs a housemaid may want. Given that this is the Original, or Pink Visa as it is also called, the housemaid from the country of origin need not to do the 3-day Procedures from the Embassy. Ticket can be issued ASAP and she can travel sooner that the ones holding an Online Visa.
