We are back to bring you the latest update in processing Entry Visa for the housemaids with the following nationalities:
BEFORE:
As a process before, Original Visa is secured for the above-mentioned nationalities. The document is submitted to the agency which will in turn, forward to the housemaid’s originating country. For Ethiopians and Ugandans, they need this to pass thru the immigration /airport during the travel date.
NOW:
Beginning this November 2016, a New Rule has been set that all nationalities will require Online Visa Processing.
What does it mean?
Similar to Indonesians and Sri Lankans, the process now for all other nationalities will have to be thru Online Visa. After the application, the Visa Form will be given to you (an SMS will be sent to confirm this, as well).
Once you get the Visa Form from the Immigration, the steps below will follow:
- Submit a copy to the Housemaid Agency.
- The agency will forward the copy to the housemaid’s agent.
- The housemaid will come in person to the UAE Embassy to do the procedures (Eye Scan & Finger Printing) before issuing Visa Stamp.
- Release of Visa Stamp – An SMS will be sent to you(sponsor) as a confirmation
- Agent will book ticket.
- Validate the arrival details from the Agency.
This new process has taken effect already and we believe it is good that you are fully aware and ready for the said changes.
